Welcome to San Gabriel Reds, where we are passionate about preserving and enhancing the exceptional qualities of the English Fox Red Labrador. Our program is dedicated to producing strong, healthy, and well-tempered dogs with the classic blocky build, rich red coats, and gentle, loyal personalities that make this line so highly sought after.
At the heart of our program is our outstanding stud, carefully selected for his pedigree, structure, temperament, and overall excellence. He embodies everything we value in the breed—making him an ideal match for quality females looking to produce top-tier litters.
We offer nationwide stud services, and welcome inquiries from approved females who align with our breeding standards. For your convenience, we are able to safely and professionally ship his specimen nationwide, making it easy to pair your female with our exceptional male—no matter where you are located.
We will expect our first litter of puppies in late 2026/ early 2027. Stay tuned.

Our Story
San Gabriel Reds was born out of love, loss, and a deep respect for an extraordinary breed. Before beginning this journey, we spent years breeding German Shorthaired Pointers. While we loved the breed, everything changed when we welcomed our soul dog—Grizzly, our first English Fox Red Labrador. He was, without a doubt, the greatest dog we’d ever known. Loyal, gentle, intuitive—Grizzly had a way of connecting with us that felt once-in-a-lifetime. Losing him far too young was truly heartbreaking.
But in that loss, we found clarity. Grizzly showed us exactly what we valued most in a dog, and we knew our hearts would always belong to English Fox Red Labs.
When the time came, we began the search for another. That search led us to Tuna—an exceptional dog with an impressive pedigree, sired by champion Lariat out of the renowned lineage of Ford. From the very beginning, Tuna stood out. His breeder shared how naturally he connected with their children, and at the time, we were expecting our first baby. We knew he was meant to be ours.
Today, Tuna is more than just a dog—he is the heart of our family. He has become our son's soul dog, just as Grizzly was ours. In so many ways, he has brought healing, joy, and hope back into our lives.
